	At the time of closing purchasers will be responsible to pay the Belize Government Stamp Tax and Alien Land Holding Tax. The Stamp Tax and Alien Land Holding Tax total 15% of the parcel purchase price, which purchasers must included in their final closing payment.

	What will the property taxes be?
	Annual property taxes should be approximately 1% of the value of your parcel. For example, on a US$10,000 parcel, your property taxes should be approximately US$100 per year. A cashier's check made payable to the "Government of Belize" in the amount per your tax bill should be sent via registered mail to: Department of Lands and Surveys Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment Market Square Belmopan, Belize, C.A. 	What are the annual fees?
	There is currently a US$250 per year common area maintenance (CAM) fee for residential parcels (US$500 per year for commercial parcels).
