Is there water service in Progresso Heights?

Yes, public water is available through the Village of Progresso Water Authority. Homeowners will receive water bills from the utility company. Purchasers will be responsible for the connection costs from the main water lines in the road to their homes. This one-time connection fee is estimated to be US $300 and is not due and payable at closing. This fee may be incurred upon the building of a home on your parcel, if and when your desire to do so.

The cost of the water for a supply sufficient to serve a residence on a monthly basis is approximately US $10 per month.

How is sewage waste treatment handled?
Waste treatment will be handled in individual septic tanks installed during the construction phase of the home. There are no sewers.
 

 

 

What kind of roads are there within Progresso Heights?

The roads will be all-weather, compacted white marl roads. Roads have been constructed within Phase I and are 100% complete and approved by the Government of Belize.
